Cala Luna’s recipes come down to fresh, wholesome, quality ingredients. Much of our menu has been passed down through generations of the Rossetti family, resulting in tried and tested, well loved dishes.
As is prevalent in only the best of Italian cuisine, Cala Luna is passionate about il cibo di migliore qualità (the best quality food), and we insist on sourcing the freshest local produce and finest of ingredients. We source as much of our menu’s ingredients as we can from the Rossetti family farm in Sutton Forrest, NSW Southern Highlands. Anything we can’t grow ourselves, (including our truffles and porcini mushrooms) we import from our trusted contacts back in Italy.
When it comes to our seafood, our buyers can be found early every morning, sourcing the freshest fish, calamari, crab, and oysters at Sydney’s Fish Markets.
From our Pappadelle to our Cappellacci, our pasta is made daily on site, with the same kind of love and passion which has come to form the base of the Rossetti family’s vision.
Our aim here at Cala Luna is to provide our guests with the very best food without limitations. We like to think our faithful clientele who continue to return, time, and time again can be testament to this.
